The expansive and ever-changing vistas in the Galisteo Basin in New Mexico are as infinitely inspiring and mesmerizing as the ocean to me.  I never tire of trying to capture those fleeting moments - like portraits of a land you have to freeze in time to cherish at leisure later. My eye is always drawn upward to the beautiful skies that seem somehow bigger here in New Mexico than elsewhere.
