Portraits

Portraiture has always interested me and I continue to take commissions for both oil paintings as well as charcoal sketches.  I work from my photographs - having found through trial and error that in this way I can capture personality as well as more natural expressions  That also allows me to make action portraits that incorporate lifestyle. You will notice that these portraits are more painterly the closer you get to them, as they are photorealistic in style.
